Nun sind die Zeit und die Öffentlichkeit dafür reif zu erfahren, wie Kottan tatsächlich endet. Unter der Federführung von Jan Zenker hat sich das Kottan-Team wieder zusammen gefunden und die verlorenen Drehbücher in Hörspiele zu verwandeln... Das wahre Ende von Kottan! („Kottan ermittelt: Mord 1927“ wäre die Folge 25 in der Serie gewesen)
Der Fall:
Die beiden suspendierten Kriminalbeamten Adolf Kottan und Bruder Kottan machen mit einer selbst gebastelten Zeitmaschine eine Reise. Ihr Ziel: 1927, das Jahr in dem Polizeipräsident Heribert Pilch geboren wurde. Ein Ereignis, das es zu verhindern gilt. Alfred Schrammel als blinder Passagier in der Zeitmaschine macht das Chaos perfekt. Das Ende überrascht nicht nur die zwei Kriminalbeamten.
