Publisher's summary

Against his will, Noctorno Hawthorne, an undercover cop, finds himself embroiled in magic, mayhem and a parallel universe. Too late, he meets an amazing woman only to find she’s destined for his identical twin in another world. And things aren’t going great there.

Noc is recruited to help save that world. What he doesn’t know is his destined love resides in that world.

Franka Drakkar wears a mask. A mask she never takes off to protect herself in a world of malice, intrigue and danger.

When Franka meets Noc and he discovers her secrets, convinced she carries a midnight soul, having shielded herself from forming bonds with anyone, she struggles with accepting his tenderness and care.

When Noc meets Franka, over wine and whiskey, her mask slips and Noc knows it’s her—only her—and he has to find a way to get her to come home with him.

And then make her want to stay.

Surprisingly excellent!

I was hesitant about this one of the series since the others were so fantastic and I wasn't such a fan of Noctorno falling for Franca but it was worth it...

Fast listen

This is my favorite book out of the series. I liked the fact that the went back and forth between worlds and reintroduced characters from the other books. Loved it!

I loved the series...not the language

I loved the series, but if I had a nickel for every time the F word was used unnecessarily I’d be a rich woman...the language almost ruined it for me.

Hooked

I have read all of Kristen Ashley's fantasyland Series and was hooled after the first book. I couldn't put any of the 5 books down. The only downer is there will not be a 6th book.

Loved it!!

I really loved this series. Had me laughing and crying and laughing again. It's a feel good story. It was cool having the characters from previous books too. Well written, well performed. Not too sappy, not too much sex. Some blows were really bad but dam the insight were pretty awesome. Overall....Wow. Read/listen to this series. Well worth the time and money.

ehhh

after reading the synopsis of this book I wasn't going to buy it. as it was the only one left in a series I really like I finally broke down and did. It it was nothing like the others and I regret giving into curiosity

Wonderful

The book was entertaining and I love how she tied characters into the book from previous books, like visiting old friends.

Very Good

When story started out I thought that there just isn’t a man as Perfect as Nok and then the author Allowed him to show an imperfection and I was satisfied -
Great Story

Franka isn’t so bad after all

I must be losing my hearing because I see one reviewer stating it was both but profanity. I’m going to have to disagree. Sure, there is some but not as bad as this reviewer makes out. I’ve heard books with a lot more. Anyway, I liked knowing how Frannie was the way she was and that we got to see the real her. From the pst books I wouldn’t have thought she had a nice bone in her body. My only complaint is that this book seemed to go on forever without anything really happening but I still love Kristen Ashley. 💗
