With the current state of our churches, country and men, this should be a mandatory READ. We may not know how to save America, obviously prayer and fasting, but this book is a GREAT start. I will be rereading this book, stories of great men are remarkable and the audio is performed exceptionally. You think your a man, read this book and see where you are on the scale 1-10,(not in book) Id say before considering my ego and all I would have put myself at an 8, but now I realize I’m more like a 4, got some work to do.

Good reminder to godly man

If you are a godly man, most likely you heard many of the things the author speaks of. However, as creatures given to forgetfulness it is refreshing to hear them again. Definitely helps you refocus on what is important.

I read the book first, and came back for the audiobook. Whatever format you choose, this work is worth your time and money.

Biblical and Historic Stories to draw from

Read this with a new men's group I had just joined. You know your life is in shambles when listening to an audiobook is the highlight of each week. It has allowed me to focus on what matters, reset priorities, and grow in strength.

Great read/listen and motivator to become a real man

I’ve read some of the 1-star reviews of this book and am unsure why they really feel that way. Nevertheless, this is a great book focused on helping men become real men through doing! Don’t stop with the book.

I was concerned initially with how it would read. I worried about lofty writing about what it means to be a man from a balcony viewpoint, but I am thankful when I say it was clearly written with references to great men that lived out examples for us to emulate. Thank you to Mr. Mansfield for compiling this brilliant tribute to great men everywhere.
