Un testo formidabile che sa alternare toni apocalittici e ironia, slogan efficaci e spiegazioni chiare e (se proprio la società capitalistica intende vendicarsi dei fastidi che queste non molte pagine le hanno procurato) dovrebbe essere religiosamente analizzato ancora oggi nelle scuole per pubblicitari [...] È impressionante come il Manifesto avesse visto nascere, con un anticipo di centocinquant'anni, l'era della globalizzazione, e le forze alternative che essa avrebbe scatenato. Come a suggerirci che la globalizzazione non è un incidente avvenuto durante il percorso dell'espansione capitalistica (solo perché è caduto il muro ed è arrivato internet) ma il disegno fatale che la nuova classe emergente non poteva evitare di tracciare, anche se allora, per l'espansione dei mercati, la via più comoda (anche se più sanguinosa) si chiamava colonizzazione.
