An inventor goes public and says, "I have created a magnetic sound vibration anti-gravity spaceship." The military hears this and replies, "It's ours now. Also, it does not exist," and sends the inventor to prison for reasons of national security, and the inventor is never heard from again. The news reports it as a standard weather balloon. Anti-gravity is one of those controversial subjects that some say is more in the realm of science fiction than science fact, with many physicists saying it's just not theoretically possible.
