Fresh and challenging

I liked this book for 3 reasons.

1. It was accurate. It seems to me to be 100% in line with scripture and the nature of Jesus Christ.

2. It was practical. With every chapter I could better see how to put things I’d read in the Bible into practice.

3. It was challenging. You’ll have to really want to change to get the most out of this book, but at same time the book makes you willing to be willing.

In short, the book was truly compelling, and I experienced a wake-up call. If you are like me and bored/jaded inside the church because it seems so fake but unmotivated to minister to the world because it seems so futile, I think this book would help you identify what’s going on with you and point you in the right direction out of your funk.

Can you forgive and love someone you hate?

Pastor Choco, does an excellent job articulating key points from the Bible and most particularly Jesus Christ interactions with various people. And in these interactions he ties it into modern day times and situations. we often sometimes forget that as Christ was being nailed to the cross he still forgave and loved those who were doing it and always forgave and healed. I believe those who read this book will find a small part of Christ's love which they can share with others.

Extremely timely

This book came at the perfect time for me as I was struggling with bitterness and feeling hopeless at the current state of our world. The division is heartbreaking and I found it increasingly difficult to find the point in even trying to interact. I am so thankful for the words in this book and for helping to point me back to God's Word and reminding me that love isn't about only loving those who are easy to love! I want to love like Jesus does!!
