Young Tawa is the impetuous son of the tribal chieftain. While out hunting, he encounters a flying monster, but no one believes him when he shares what he has witnessed. Surprisingly Good!
I enjoy a good novel about ancient Roma. I enjoy fantasy novels such as LOTR, or the WOT. This book is primarily Roman legion focused. Towards the latter half the other fantasy elements are introduced very well. The main character is well fleshed out and I did care about his struggles. The supporting characters didn't get much time or development. However, the story is excellent. I couldn't stop listening for two days.
If you enjoy fantasy, or Roman focused novels, have no hesitation and make this purchase.
