Seven Days in May is a full-cast stage production of a screenplay and novel by the same name. Filled with suspense and political intrigue, the play follows a military coup conspiracy being carried about by the Joint Chiefs of Staff. After learning about the cabal, the president must react quickly as he faces pressure from the Soviet Union and his innermost circle. Performances by Edward Asner and Fred Thompson perfectly convey the gravity of this high-stakes conflict. Both men make two things clear: This isn't just politics; this is a matter of life and death.
(P)2001 L.A. Theater Works
I am a huge fan of LA theaterworks. All their plays are riveting and incredibly well done including post-production.
