    "Hope is on the way"

John Kerry gave a powerful and hopeful view of the future. He has a plan, he has the skill and intelligence to implement the plan and regain the respect of the world.

    "Kerry's been holding back."

Kerry showed fire in this speech that he had apparently been holding back during the primaries.

I suspect he's been roping the dopes who criticized him for being too Gore-like.

    "Help is on the Way!"

John Kerry gives a fine speech setting the foundation for his campaign to come. Integrity is his virtue to be admired. He can lead with steady confidence, and calm resolve.

    "Listening without Looking!"

I was shocked to LISTEN to Senator Kerry's speech. While I thought it was good when I watched it on TV, I was surprised at how incohert it was. When watching I thought he was strong and put forth his ideas for the future, but I discovered that he was neither when just listening (and rewinding) to him. No specifics on what he would do, just broad brush strokes.

This has changed my view of him as a possible President.

How strange the power of the visual - TV has really had an impact on me! I will listen to all future political speeches. What a great service offered by Audible. Thanks.

    "Kerry + Words = Lies"

This speech was a waste live and even worse when you listen to it again. The holes are glaring, the lack of details staggering, and the lack of a backbone ever-more apparent. God help us if he wins.
