This was one helluva "witness". It was like being in church, and the story was told with eloquence and heart. A fantastic listen. Fantastic.

    "Moving"

This nearly brought me to tears. One of the best, most personal speeches I've ever heard. Listen to it.

    "Inspiring"

When I listened to this speech I could tell Reverend Alston was not a politician; he talked over applause and didn't speak for the soundbites. However, this is precisely what I loved about this speech. In listening to Reverend Alston I learned about Kerry the soldier and Kerry the human being, something the politicians and press seem to gloss over. The energy and emotion Alston included in his speech were remarkable. He was able to build and build upon his obvious love for John Kerry and tell you WHY he felt that way. I've listened to it several times already and recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the life experiences that made John Kerry who he is.
