WEAK and BAD ending

Very disappointed in the ending, I thought Alex was stronger than than this and overall deserved better.

painful read

This is a hard book to read..and this isn't the first time I have read it. Sam is a disgusting excuse of a human being...anyone who is capable of that kind of cruelty can never be trusted fully...if this was a real life story he would break her heart fully in the end and that is sad. This paints a picture of a very weak woman in my opinion. I will say that the book kept me hooked despite all that...just wish she would have made a different choice...which in all honesty should have been her learning to love herself by herself.

This was a beautiful story and well read by the narrator. Delightfully pleasing as are all of her books.

The entire store was very emotional, the narrator did a great job, I was rooting for Alex and Brock the entire time

I was very disappointed by Alex’s decision. If she has a relapse, why does she expect him to be any different?

It’s the first time I’ve been surprised by a Daniel Steele book. I’m very disappointed that the philandering husband triumphs. What the heck?!!!
