Never have I ever....

She has never lived a normal life outside of the dance studio. He has never fallen in love. Levi O’Connor is trouble. At 22, there are a few things that he was sure he would never do: go back home, and fall in love. After spending months on tour with his band and making bad decisions that landed him on the front cover of numerous tabloids, it is not until an incident happens at one of his shows that everything changes.

Riley Andrews is a picture of discipline and success. At 18, her life has been consumed by dancing. This summer, she is staying with a world-renowned ballet teacher who is preparing her for her dream school. Only, she is growing frustrated as her teacher is constantly pulled away to deal with news about her reckless son. Levi and Riley’s lives are turned upside down when a global pandemic leads them in what they believe is their own personal hell.

Filled with drama, heartbreak, and romance, this is a story of love that may not have happened without tragedy.

Life worth listening/reading

This is my first time reading/listening by this author and I have to say there are a bit of a twist/turns for you. It is a cute yet a bit on the giddy feeling with these two main characters. It was a slow burn romance for me but that’s okay. It’s what I needed right now! The audio for this was quite lovely and very tuned on their characters which makes it worthwhile!!!! There is a familiar sense of the story for me- the pandemic. I have to say it was hard for me to go through it because I’ve experience far worse. I believe that’s how great of a writer she is. I did got caught up on the moments. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wants a little love and familiarity. Great banters, and story!

Really Good!

I was pleasantly surprised! I enjoyed the story and the characters. I lived the narration! I loved how the male and female narrators spoke in the chapters together. I think that brought it to a different level! I would definitely give this book a try!

I really liked this book

The storyline was great. and the narrative was amazing. A dancer meets a rock star. Some things in life are against them, but fate makes it's own way.

So far this story has it's up's and downs. But it really does have it's good side. I can't wait for the next one. I'll be sure to recommend this to anyone who loves a good relationship story

Sweet and Swoony Slow Burn

Life Interrupted by Daniele Lanzarotta was a sweet and swoony slow burn. This was my first book by Daniele, and I really enjoyed it. If you are a fan of New Adult Romance Rockstar Romance paired with Forced Proximity then you will adore this book. I love that Daniele was able to bring in so many real life situations due to dealing with the pandemic which made this book totally relatable.

Connor Crais and Marli Watson narrate this audiobook in duet which is super pleasing to the ears. Connor is spot on as Levi portraying all of Levi's arrogance but then also his lovable and caring persona. Marli does a great job conveying all of Riley's vulnerabilities, but then her passion for dancing as well.

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook! Plus Riley's song= totall swoon! I'm looking forward to more from this author.

A new found love during a crisis

There is something magical about listening to a story after you have already read it.
The narrators did a great job bringing this story to life. although I had read this earlier this year, it felt like a new experience. I still laughed and cried.
What a sweet story of unexpected love during an uncertain time. And yes, I found myself crying during 2 parts of this story. I love how Levi's character grew during this story. Yes, we saw an unexpected side of him, but he grew and changed throughout the story. Riley is such a beautiful, giving, determind character. My heart broke for her a few times throughout the story. And her best friend Krissy is a friend that everyone will want one their side. I finished it in less than 1 day, not wanting to stop listeningto it!

A Wonderfully Entertaining Story! Fabulous Listen🎧

I am a huge fan of rockstar romance novels and as soon as I saw one of the lead characters was a rockstar, I knew I needed to listen to the audiobook and that I was going to love it, which I did. Daniele Lanzarrotta is a gifted author with an impressive writing style, the story she created is interesting and original and it grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it for the entire book. The characters are realistic, easy to relate to, connect with and care about. Levi O’Connor is your typical bad boy rockstar but after getting in trouble on the last leg of his band’s tour, he gets sentenced to house arrest, ankle bracelet and all. When he returns home, he finds a wonderful surprise in his bed, a sleeping beauty and he shares his find on social media. Riley Andrews dreams of dancing and becoming a professional dancer, she is on her way training with the best but then the unthinkable happens, a pandemic hits and everything shuts down, including her ballet school. She and her friend, Krissy, are staying with Mrs. O’Connor and they will wait out the pandemic until the auditions go on. Exhausted she falls asleep in her son’s room, who is not expected to be home any time soon, but to her surprise she finds him sleeping on the floor, her friend Krissy is a fan and gets all fan girl on him but Riley is not as enthusiastic as her. It was great to see another side of Levi emerge, normally he does not have to work at winning a girl but he has met his challenge and he learns quickly that it is not so easy to win Riley’s heart. I loved how everything played out in this book and how the author kept is all real with living life during the pandemic. There is never a dull moment in this book the story is cleverly plotted plenty of drama, some humor, angst, twists and turns, heartfelt and emotional moments and a slow burn romance. Daniele Lanzarotta, thank you for this wonderfully enjoyable story, loved it, loved the song lyrics too.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fabulous narration, Marly Watson and Connor Crais are talented narrators and voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit their character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These two are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Love story in a pandemic times.

this book was really unexpected but I really enjoyed it. this is not your usual rockstar romance, great story line with some unexpected twists and turns, very slow burn but soo worth it to see the growth of Levi and how Riley sacrifice her dream for someone who she loves and adores not counting the struggles in leaving in a pandemic and lockdown times...it was really life interrupted. Connor Crais as always was excellent and Marli Watson wasa new narrator for me but I was really pleased by her performance. I can't wait for book 2 - Dirty Little Secrets, Bentley and Krissy's story ❤

Loved It!

I truly enjoyed listening to this book! It has the right amount of drama, humor, heartbreak, and of course romance. It also got an interesting mix of characters.

Marli Watson was simply fantastic. She has continued to impress me with her awesome performance. Connor Crais did well too. The duet narration was smooth and pretty seamless. I'm looking forward to listening to them again in Book 2.
