I really enjoyed listening to this book as I have not been a person of prayer in my life. This book showed me the various ways that I can pray without feeling like I’m doing it wrong, saying it wrong etc. this author did a really great job with explanations, instructions as well as providing examples. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is just unsure how to effectively communicate with God.

How to talk with the almighty in simple language

I have written books on prayer, and this one puts it in simple layman's terms. Not a lot of time is needed. you don't have to speak in old English to get to God's ear. Just have a willingness and an open heart. He loves to hear from you, and this book puts it across nicely. Diversify your prayers

One of the best books I have listened to all year. I grew up in a Christian household and going to church, but no one ever taught me how to pray. It was always just implied that you were born knowing how to pray. I found this book extremely eye-opening and have adopted a lot of these principles into my prayer. I especially liked the section on diversifying your prayers. If you would like to go deeper with your prayers, this is a fantastic book.

A better way of praying

This book gave me a prayer for every situation. It taught me how to pray. I thought I knew how but always had trouble formulating a prayer. I didn't think my prayers were sufficient. With this book, my mind and heart opened so I could come closer to God.

Great Book for Getting Back to Praying

I grew up with having the Catholic religion jammed down my throat. For that reason, when I was older, I chose to move away from my religious upbringing. However, in the times we live in, I needed to get back to some sense of talking to a higher power and I wasn't sure how to go about that. I picked up this book on a friend's recommendation and it has helped me to do that tremendously. I especially like the way it breaks down your prayer choices based on your personal need at the time so you can refer to it as sort of a manual to guide you through life's difficult times. It has helped me reconnect with God and helped me to realize that God is there for us when we need him/her the most. Thank you Vivian Alex for this most excellent resource.
