Good introduction to La Jill Hunt

This was my first introduction to this author and it won’t be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed Devyn’s story and her evolution throughout. She went from broken and self doubt to confident and self assured. It was a good lesson that our pasts don’t define us. We can preserve and succeed. The only thing I didn’t like was how it ended. I hate cliffhangers. But I’m looking forward to catching up with these characters in a future book. Hopefully, that won’t be too long.

Love/hate relationship with the author

I loved this book per usual. All of La Jill Hunt’s books are good. What I hate the most about the author is she has a knack for writing a cliff hanger and not giving us the next book until years later. Why not just give us complete books or atleast considerate consistency with dropping the next book?

Besides that though the book is great. Can’t wait to read part two, whenever that maybe.

Know Your Worth

Overall good read but the pace was kind of off. Asha irritated my soul. Her trying to control Devin and her relationships but turning around and being in a jacked up one herself was beyond crazy. Just when Devin starts to realize her worth she’s hit with another boom. There are still some unanswered questions, but I was happy to see some of my favorites make cameo appearances, YaYa and Brianna. Hopefully the next book will clear up the Asha and Devin dilemma.

This book did not disappoint, I had a lot of wtf moments listening to this audio. I just want to beat up Sully and Ingrid!!! I can’t wait for the sequel.

loved it

It was a real great book. I loved meeting Devyn, Asha, and Chase. Not much drama, but it was a smooth listen. I was happy to hear about YaYa doing big things. I'm sooo happy that we are finally gonna see Private Property 2 coming to life! I am so excited and can't wait.
