This is a great program in general because of the dialogs you would likely encounter as a traveler to a spanish speaking company. However, if you are a beginner this program will be frustrating.
The characters in the dialogs are to basic to from an opinion but they are effective in teaching the language.
This would be nice as a DVD- audio visual program.
Where this program fails is that you need a certain level of Spanish for it to be effective. The audio refers to vocabulary maps that were not included in our materials so there is a huge loss there. They keep playing concert music as a "right brain, left brain" engagement activity but the music is so loud that it's hard to pay attention to the dialog. I didn't like the concert music, not did I find it any more effective in learning.
A warning that this is not for beginners. They literally don't tell you what is being said. I may as well be watching a Spanish movie without subtitles.
"Not what it is cracked up to be"
Great idea and generally executed well, however the lack of the written back up makes the course fairly useless. A bit like trying to play a record without a needle in the record player. Most elements are there but the thing that pulls it together is missing
