Good refresher

You won’t learn Italian but it’s a good way to refresh your Italian before traveling to Italy.

Do not waste your time

I'm trying to refresh my knowledge of the Italian Language. The music was so annoying! At first I thought it was just the Intro but it didn't stop! Please note if your trying to learn a new language, you need to do so with no distractions. I'm sorry I wasted a credit.

Annoying music

This would be a good introduction to some phrases useful for tourists. It is very basic, for beginners, and the words and phrases are pronounced clearly and repeated a few times. But I found the beat of the music so distracting and annoying that I could barely get through it.

Vapid Italian volume one.

This lesson is very short (1h:10m) and it would be great for someone that wants to say that they are learning Italian before they go to Italy but they really don’t want to put any work into it. The background music is fun at first but it interferes with hearing the correct pronunciation. After listening to this disk I listened to Pimsleur Quick & Simple Italian for English Speakers (03h:42m) and I kept saying to myself “Oh so that’s how you pronounce that word.” This lesson will teach you just about enough Italian to embarrass yourself when you get to Italy.
