This language course is the second Michel Thomas method I've tried: some years ago I refreshed my French with the great man himself, via cassette tapes. It's perfect for the busy person - unlike other language courses, you don't need to sit and take notes, so it's easy to make time to study whilst you're doing the commute, the ironing or on your travels. Progress is very fast, and you'll be speaking complete sentences in under half an hour. The method involves two students and two teachers, and you are supposed to repeat the answers to questions yourself. The teacher always repeats the correct answer once, so you also have a perfect accent to copy. I am hopeless at languages, but even I found this a very effective method - it won't teach you to read or write, but you probably weren't expecting that from an audio course anyway. I really can't praise this highly enough -I'm about to buy the other parts as it has been worth every penny and more.
