Great tool for self learners
It works. Wirklich! That's German for really. The audio book has great flow, very good stress on pronunciations where needed and subtly keeps reminding about things learnt in past chapters.

Still my favorite language lessons
I’ve used Pimsleur for Spanish, Pashto and German now. I like the learning system based on having conversations a lot. I do think the conversations could be made more relevant. I’m sitting here now learning how to tell time 4 different ways it just seems unnecessary. I don’t think I need to know how to say a quarter past four, a quarter until four, 16:15, and 4:15 as bad as emphasize it these lessons.
