Critic reviews

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." ( AudioFile magazine)

Needs update

Some expressions not even Germans use. Needs to be update. Or Germans will think you speak like a weirdo.

Good program but not excellent

Hope the conversation lasts longer and more explanations on the grammar. Overall, it is a good introduction to learn German. But the audible book is expensive.

Very Good Program

I feel like I’m learning a lot of German from the program. I took German and high school and college but that was 45 years ago and this is serving as an excellent way to re-introduce myself to the German language.

appropriate for who wanna start learning German

the title overall is cool. The Pimsleur Method really fits speaking as suggested by the author. however, I think that the lerner needs to have background in German, especially with reading. yeah, the title offers PDF booklit but its not enough. I highly recommend it, most important not to depend on the series only. I'm still on the first level and will see if it will be different later on.

Very good

Really good for learning German, however I'm brushing up on it it might be a lot harder if you don't already know some details about masculine, feminine, and neutral articles etc, however I think you would still learn but might need to learn gar from another source. Maybe after lev1 they will begin going into it more
