Pimsleur French Level 5 is a new 30-lesson course designed to be taken after Pimsleur's French Level 4. Builds upon skills taught in Pimsleur's French levels one through four. You'll be speaking and understanding French with near fluency and with a broad range of conversational skills.

"Pimsleur programs provide plenty of positive reinforcement that will keep learners on track, and we found that Pimsleur gave us more proficiency and confidence in speaking the new language than any of the other language programs we reviewed." (AudioFile magazine)
Yes, Phase 5 is full of all sorts of life situations that you would actually be put in. And the vocab is very valuable in this Phase. The stories jump all around with each lesson; from buying some groceries and making a tarte, to talking about how your parents will be arriving at the hospital soon to pick you up after a brush with death from a skiing accident. It's got everything.
