This is good but not great! Ii would be great if there was reference material.
Book and reading material is imperative to go along with this package.
Purchasing this should include the book, because sometimes the audio isn't enough to follow the lessons. So publishers, where can I download mine?
Please post the reference guide. For the same price on other sites, you get the CD and the reference guide.
Clear Concise Thorough
I'm a native american English speaker who records spoken audio for a living, and I really enjoyed this book - it clarified a few points and made my English less colloquial. This book seems mainly targeted towards people for whom English is a second language, but even so, I enjoyed it. My audio editor also feels that my pronunciation is better.
I would recommend this audiobook to anyone who needs to improve their listening and articulation in American English.
As a foreigner, it was very instructive to know how the function words are almost neglected and have no stress in spoken American English. It gave me a different perspective on the rhythm of the language.
I don't think this question applies here.
This is a book for intermediate to advanced English students or fluent speakers. They don't provide the corresponding textbook, although they refer to it. I didn't need it, but many students probably would.
In the description of this audiobook it doesn't say it is American English, which I think it is a very important thing to know (I wouldn't have bought it if I knew so). Apart from that, there is no booklet to download, so it's a little bit useless without it. If you are interested in this product, it's probably better to buy the CD's, which should be the same, but at least you will get the little 64 pages booklet.
