Collins Spanish with Paul Noble combines an exciting, new, non-traditional approach to language learning with the easy, relaxed appeal of an audio-only product. No books. No rote memorisation. No chance of failure.
Paul Noble is a genius with a higher IQ than Einstein. Despite this, he still struggled with language learning at school. He found himself feeling 'confused, incapable and unable to really say anything'. As a result of his negative early experiences, Paul has come up with a ground-breaking new method of language teaching that removes the need for months of studying. With Paul Noble, everyone really can speak a language.
Part 2 of the course covers:
Two native-speaking Spanish experts help Paul to deliver the course and to perfect your pronunciation in both Latin American and Iberian Spanish. No complicated grammatical explanations, no rote memorisation, no writing - no stress. Learn over 6,000 words in no time at all and - most importantly - learn how to make your new vocabulary work for you. (Use the accompanying booklet as a reference and revision tool.)

After trying Rosetta Stone, Busuu, Pimsleur, classes, books, and other approaches to learn a foreign language (for me mainly Spanish), I am finally learning thanks to Paul Noble.
If your learning style fits his teaching style, you will love it as I did. Listen to the preview it may help you make that determination.
Learn Spanish 1-3 are good and 3-4 hours worth of material, watch out and don't buy book #4 thought it's only 19minutes
Amazing relation of the Spanish words to English. Easy learning . Beats all the fancy expensive Rosetta stone
One Latin Ameican speaker and one Castillian Spanish speaker. Beautiful pron unciation easy to imitate. Enough time given for learner to speak answer. Slightly sleepy given silence time for answering, . One of the best programs available for beginner spanish sentence building.. Touristy at times.
This is an easy way to cover the basics. I've taken Spanish in the past. I find this series a great refresher course on the basics of conversational Spanish.
One Latin Ameican speaker and one Castillian Spanish speaker. Beautiful pron unciation easy to imitate. Enough time given for learner to speak answer. Slightly sleepy given silence time for answering, Narrarator very pleasent and comprehensive in presenting beginner Spanish . One of the best programs available.
I was looking for a really good intermediate level Spanish audiobook, but I bought this and was extremely disappointed. The book has just about as much English as it does Spanish. All of the grammar and vocabulary is extremely basic. I'm glad I didn't start from book 1.
"A language learning must have!"
Loved it - gave me the confidence to try things, practice and make progress! Discovered great hints and tips for making rapid progress with the language!
"Brilliant and thankfully addictive"
I can't believe how much Spanish I have learnt in such a short time! I was a complete beginner - no longer!
I like the way Paul builds up from basics with repetition. It is sometimes a bit frustrating when you've "got it" but stick with it as you get to learn a lot in a short time. I like using it over to revise.
"An excellent way to learn Spanish"
Paul Noble was recommended to me and so far I have listened to the first two in the series. I generally prefer them to the Michel Thomas ones that I still dip into, which are of a similar method of learning. However I especially like the fact that in the Paul Noble series you are listening to two native Spaniards (one speaking Latin American Spanish and the other European Spainish). Paul Noble has a very friendly manner whereas Michel Thomas can be a bit cranky at times and I sometimes got irritated with his students who were learning alongside you. I am keen to get started on the third one. I live part of the year in Tenerife and these tapes have helped enormously to build my confidence in speaking the language.
"good beginner's method"
a good, gentle paced method which covers good tourist basics and more. Less intense than Michel Thomas, but native speakers a big plus
Great build up of the language no pressure learning
Wish I could afford the books as well
Top top marks
"Very Good ALONGSIDE studying"
I have audiobooks 1 to 4 by this author. I believe that these and any other Spanish audiobooks are only good in conjunction with continued study of the language. You will not learn another language solely by listening to this or any other audiobook.
Most accessible course I have ever used. Paul doesn't just provide learning by rote he gives you the tools to progress
If you've worked though episode 1 from scratch the pace is good for new learners and episode 2 does revise and build on topics and vocabulary to back up his 'not remembering' method of natural learning.
BUT... eventually the repetition gets so monotonous. I never want to hear 'ado like bravado' or 'ido like libido' again. Worse though is the amount of English used. What seems forever explaining what a noun and pronoun is, in English! It could easily have been 10 minutes or more of dead time, and so often the explanations in English are just too verbose. I almost lost the will to live during the second half.
A poor and frustrating sequel to a good start. Hoping for better from episode 3.

Will be getting more in the Spanish series
