Saranno un Vecchiodallabarbalunga e una Vecchiadalpiedestorto (Babbo Natale e la Befana) ad estrarre dalla bocca del Grande Divoratore le parole perdute che, una volta ricucite, diventeranno una grande coperta di Natale.
Mentre viene cucita come d'incanto i personaggi tornano a raccontare le loro storie, a giocare con le loro filastrocche, a cantare le loro canzoni. È la notte del 24 dicembre.
