It’s hard to fight love
Another engaging sweet story by Melanie Jacobson. She is an extremely talented writer with an ability to turn out books that you do not want to put down. This story of a sweet new neighbor with a past that she avoids, who loves old people, especially the old widowed grandmother who teaches her lessons about life and gardening. Her absent grandson investigator shows up unexpectedly and his rather rude attitude to his grannies new neighbor sets off this fun story. I read and listened to this novel and I would highly recommend. The story and performance were both great.

A great romcom
Ian and Brooke are such a fun couple. Ian is a workaholic private investigator, and Brooke is the lovely neighbor to his grandmother. When his Gran comes up with a ploy to get Ian to come visit her, the ploy backfires into making Ian think that Brooke is out to scam his grandmother.
There are plenty of misunderstandings and tons of hilarious conversations and incidents in this book. However, the romance and swoony attraction made me know that this couple would definitely get their HEA.
The audiobook narration was also superbly done. Ultimately, I just have to say that this one is highly recommended and I intend to continue on with this series for sure.

Fun
This is such a fun sweet romantic comedy, I really enjoyed listening to it and I loved the characters and story line. I recommend this wonderful sweet story.
