Publisher's Summary

Ever since Howard Carter uncovered King Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922, the young pharaoh has become a symbol of the wealth and mystery of ancient Egypt. Now, a two-and-a-half-year-long museum exhibit of Tut's treasures is touring major cities in the U.S., drawing record crowds.

This audiobook explains the life and times of this ancient Egyptian ruler, covering the story of the tomb's discovery, as well as myths and so-called mummy curses.

Estate planning lawyer and mom to two boys. My older son liked audiobooks as an infant, and I've listened to a lot since then.

"Unusual entry in a wonderful series"

Both my sons have loved these books, and my younger son at 14 is still listening to the ones he missed earlier. This installment has a wonderful narrator who has done many of the other books.

This is a good one, but the oddity is that since little is known of Tut's life, most of the book is about related topics. We still enjoyed it -- as would any elementary or middle school reader with any interest in ancient Egypt -- but it isn't as much of a true biography as the other ones in the series.

    "Pretty good"

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Good book although only two or three chapters are about Tut's life.

    🌠Good book though🌠
