Hit home

I had never read this story as a boy. I decided to check it out after hearing people tell me that my dog was in the story. I have a Redbone of my own and can relate to just about every emotion Billy had with his dogs. Best book I have listened to in a long time.

Great story. My fifth grade teacher read it to the class while we worked on an art project. I cried this time, too!
