"Infectious fun for all ages!!!" (USA Today)
"The Mark Twain of contemporary children's music." (Entertainment Weekly)
We have 5 Bill Harley stories, and this is easily his best one. Appropriate - and well liked - by all ages, it's the perfect place to start with Bill Harley, or a great addition to an already well stocked library.
The kiddos request this CD everytime we get in the car -- Moon Pies, I like Moon PIES!! This is a great (just like his others) story set, and it's nostalgic for Mommy and Daddy. A lot of fun, super story teller. My husband and I are addicted to Bill Harley stories now.
My eight year old has been listening to this story for several years now, and never tires of it. I like it too. Bill Hadley is a master story-teller. We love it.
The author/narrator was very entertaining. I wasn't a huge fan of how he portrayed the lunch lady though. It seemed mean spirited to make fun of her arm flab. My kids also won't stop singing "moon pies, moon pies" in their most annoying voices. We will listen to more from this author.
I can be summed up in one word. Handsome, intelligent, honest, humble, brave, exciting, fun, kind, trustworthy, sexy! All these words work.
We have listen to this audio recordings dozens of times. Anytime we have an new kid in the car with us on a long trip my kids want to share these stories with their friends, Way to go Bill Harley!
