About this listen

Bradley Chalkers IS the oldest kid in the fifth grade. He tells enormous lies. He picks fights with girls. No one likes him - except Carla, the new school counselor. She thinks Bradley is sensitive and generous, and knows that Bradley could change, if only he weren’t afraid to try. But when you feel like the most-hated kid in the whole school, believing in yourself can be the hardest thing in the world....

We listened to this on a car trip and had a great conversation about the many themes in this book. So well written and read. Hope every family will read and discuss the importance of the topics covered in the book.

It was an awesome book. I think it shows that even a lonely person can make friends and to not Judge a book by its cover

An amazing book!!!😁

this is THE MOST annoying narration I have ever heard in a book. every character is like an over the top cliche of a 60's boston newspaper boy. Boys, girls, kids, adults, every single character has a weird nasally whiny accent. seriously horrendous. this was a favorite book of mine growing up but this is borderline unlistenable.

good story- one of the worst narrations I've ever heard
