    Story
    "Highly entertaining"
What made the experience of listening to There's A Wolf In My Pudding the most enjoyable?

This is a highly entertaining, extremely humourous collection of 12 "Wolf Tales". You may think you know some of these stories but well... you don't! Some are classic tales, told from the wolf's point of view. Some tales are brand new. But all are funny, quirky and worth a listen.

What did you like best about this story?

12 tales didn't seem enough when the disc was done. Tony Robinson's reading is sublime. His comedic timing is wonderful

Which scene did you most enjoy?

The true story behind Red Riding Hood and the story about Cinderella's former rat footman were my favourites

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

David Henry Wilson should write more stories like this collection. Our 4 hour trip whizzed by thanks to this wonderful audiobook.

    Story
    "Nice idea but not quite"

The problem with this book is, to be old enough to "get" the satirical twists of the fairy stories, you have to be a slightly older child. AND slightly older children don't tend to think that listening to fairy stories is cool.

So, I enjoyed it. My 7 yr old grumbled but did smile his way through some of it. My 5 yr old was rather confused but (again) said he was too old for fairy stories.

We all found the narration a bit shouty.
