Publisher's summary

After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson, a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any "normal" friends.

Critic reviews

"Adventure follows chaotic adventure at a rapid pace, and readers with even a passing acquaintance with the Odyssey will enjoy this fresh use of familiar stories." (School Library Journal)

can't wait for book three.

I was as good as the first book. Even though it is basically a remix of the golden fleece story.

Great addition to the story

A great story, from start to finish, though it has flaws (mostly the narrator).
