A clever reworking of a classic story. The little old lady's fearless attitude and her clever solution as to what to do with the lively shoes, pants, shirt and pumpkin head that are chasing her will enchant young audiences. With brilliantly colored, detailed folk art illustrations.

For my kids, this is their favorite audio book (even though they have it memorized). Its a fun book, a great narrator, and is truly a classic. A perfect "scary story" for the younger kids. (I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old)
Anytime the pumpkin head goes "Boo!"...the narrator does a great job with voic acting for this story.
She reminds me of a favorite librarian reading a story at story hour at the library...she seems to enjoy reading/telling the story as much as my kids love listening and acting along with it!
My kiddos laugh and laugh and laugh with the story.
A great halloween story that isn't too scary for younger kids, without being restrictively "seasonal"...my kiddos listen to it all the time, and love to act along with all the wiggling, shaking, clomping and etc. This is the version I recommend the most (I downloaded two different ones, but this is the house favorite)
