After seeing the movie about one hundred times I finally got this app. This book is one of my favorites. I listen to this about the times a day. We'll worth the price

Looovee this book!

The book was just like I remembered from when I was younger. It is just as magical.

Narration was awesome

I love it when books can actually come to life and this was one of them. The narrators voice was so alive and adapted to each and every different character. I would recommend this reading to kids and adults, as a read or audible... such pleasant creative story with double meaning and excitement.

Wonderful!

Having seen the movie many years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I felt submerged in the story and not wanting to stop. It's a wonderful story and York's performance was great.

Surely, Mr. Lewis would be proud.

To narrate a treasured classic for audiobook publication must be a daunting task, especially when listeners span the generations from youngest to oldest. The entire Narnia series, however, has been superbly narrated, and "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" is (as it should be) the jewel in the crown. I never tire of returning to the series multiple times a year, and the enjoyment I experience simply increases each time. Kudos to all seven narrators. The Victor

Now I understand why this book in the series has the most fame, for it is such a beautiful picture of the passion account of Christ. Lewis is a true genius. Many people I know read this book and never realize the symbolism of the characters involved. Read this book and then read a gospel book :)

A classic

A classic and much better listening to it than even watching the movie, highly recommend

Simply Excellent

C.S. Lewis is a master storyteller, and this is probably his greatest work. The narration is outstanding and really brings the book to life. It's been years since I last read this, and now I am looking forward to rereading the entire story. This is a "must" for anyone who has not yet read it.
