experience that you have to listen to.

I would say that the Artemis fowl book 8 The last guardian. this book has a lot to offer when it comes down to the way a story is. I think that there could be more to the store however. it is a well-written experience excitement horror and sadness. I also think that a grants friendship happiness. I know for a fact that there is a lot of stuff that is left unsaid. however this is the last of the book series and I believe that it feels somewhat incomplete. If another Artemis fowl book where it be produced I wish you would explain all the hidden feelings and all the unexplained circumstances that cancer at the series. however this leaves a big open Gap which die hard fans would love to know. However I believe it's up to our own imaginations and how we would interpret it. because there is not a lot of information put out about the unmentionables.


I would love to hear more about the hidden mysteries about Artemis fowl and Holly short. also along the other lines of Butler and maybe a story of Butler. there's also possible stories for the twins which that's already out.


I would like to know more.

Great ending to a great series!

Where does The Last Guardian rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Definetly highly, it is such a wonderful series. The ending was absolutly perfect, I almost cried.

What did you like best about this story?

All of it! If I had to choose a favorite part it might have to be the ending. Absolutley heartbreaking.

What does Nathaniel Parker bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Artemis' voice! If I closed my eyes I could picture Artemis right in front of me!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Artemis' most difficult adventure yet, will he prevaile or even survive?

Hilariously funny!

One of the greatest reads of our time.

Phenomenal book!

Gets better every time I listen to it.
Not many authors could pull off this reading. Couldn't have been a better narrator picked for this book.

Incredibly Entertaining

Would you consider the audio edition of The Last Guardian to be better than the print version?

The story is fantastic and the audio edition is brilliant.

What did you like best about this story?

Colfer's storylines only get better and better as the series goes on. This final story is superb.

Have you listened to any of Nathaniel Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Nathaniel Parker's narration is, as I wrote above, brilliant. I believe it helped to make the stories even better.

My family and I loved all the stories and highly recommend them to those who enjoy fantasy.

i hope their is another book on the way i love Artemis fowl i cant imagine his adventures coming to an end i cant say why cause it would destroy the ending but you defiantly have potential for another few books will he choose the right path who knows

Field with Suspense

Started with action and suspense and continued to the end with the same intensity. Kept my attention the whe time. Great build of characters in whole series.

I am crying rn

I listened to this book before and it never stops amazing me, amazing story and amazing people.

There were almost tears

I was surprised at the outcome at the end. How could this 8th book finish a series that I'd been listening to since I was 11 (over and over again)? The moment the book ended (no spoilers) I was pleasantly surprised at a large tug at my heart that made me want to cry. I recognized reference to the first book immediately (which I listened to so many times 10 years ago) so I suggest anyone to read/listen to book 1 and 7 before diving into this lovely last book.

Sadly, all good things must come to an end

This was an amazing adventure that truly showcased how far Artemis Fowl progressed as a person since he first the met the faeries so many books ago. I thoroughly enjoyed getting a glimpse into the back stories of a few of our favorite recurring characters – especially Foaly!

This book had so many amazing moments that illustrated the incredible bond between Artemis, Holly and Butler. The trio of friends has been through so much together, and at a few points, I actually cried as they struggled to defeat Opal and realized they might not succeed.

My only complaint with the book is that I would have liked to have seen some resolution to the Artemis/Holly storyline that has been teased for so long. I felt like it could have been resolved, but it wasn’t.However, the ending to the book did the series justice and brought it back full circle.

Colfer has said he’s done with this series, but I sincerely hope we get to see our teen genius and LEPrecon commander again someday!
