Estate planning lawyer and mom to two boys. My older son liked audiobooks as an infant, and I've listened to a lot since then.
I haven't read the print version but this is a great book on audio. Fairy tale fantasy type stories seem to translate really well to the audio format.
The fresh take on fairy tale stories we all know. Enjoyable for all ages.
My 11 year old and I listened to his first book as well (the prior book in this series). They were very similar so if you liked the last one, you will likely enjoy this as well.
There were several funny moments.
Colder isn't my favorite narrator which surprised me since he's an actor. He has a flat quality to his voice which I didn't really like. I preferred other narrators in this genre like Bronson Pinchot and Johnny Heller.
That said, my 11 year old liked the narration. He also found the story engrossing.
This book was amazing but the ending made me so sad. I didn't know I could love a book so much! It's giving me mixed emotions because the book was spectacular but the end was more sad than I would have liked it.
I love it I've listened to it four times! It's just amazing buy it it's so worth it the thing I didn't like about umm well I kind of feel bad about how the evil fairy was being bullied but that's pretty much it!
I just don't have a lot to dislike I hope you love it as much as I do✨🤗🤗🤗😍😍😍 I just lol love it!!!
Yes, my daughter (6 when we first listened) and I both love this series.
A lot of laughing and great vocabulary to launch discussions with my child.
Great story and great narration : )
Once again Chris Colfer takes us into the world a fairy tales making what was one old new. I love his intertwining of the fairy tales that we grew up on and giving a new twist to them as well as insight of his thoughts of their back stories. I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to the Grimm Warning which is next.
