A classic story of friendship between man and beast.
Saved from the jaws of the evil tiger Shere Khan, young Mowgli is adopted by a wolf pack and taught the law of the jungle by lovable old Baloo the bear and Bhageera the panther. The adventures of Rikki-Tikki-Tavi the snake-fighting mongoose, little Toomai and the elephant's secret dance, and Kotick the white seal are all part of Mowgli's extraordinary journey with his animal friends.
A robust reading by Tony Robinson.

The only problem I had with this audio version is that it was not the complete book. I had to purchase an additional book to get the full 5 hrs.
This version only contains the stories: Mowgli's Brothers, Kaa's Hunting, and Tiger! Tiger! and some smaller poems. It DOES NOT contain The White Seal, Rikki-Tikki-Tavi, or Toomai of the Elephants as advertised.
The "Law of the Jungle"
Most of his voices were similar, but he did put a different personality to each. Mowgli was especially passionate, I think he must be my favorite. Bagheera is my next favorite.
This version is only the Mowgli stories.
"An absolute joy, brilliantly read."
I've always loved this book, so decided to download it for my iPod.
I listened to a lot of it recently when I took a coach up to London; it is very, very good and the time flew by.
Tony Robinson is a brilliant reader. His character voices are varied, appropriate and fantastic, and really bring it to life.
What more can I say other than that I believe that this is as good as an audiobook gets!
"Not Unabridged at all"
Tony Robinson's reading of this is excellent, but this is by no means the whole of the Jungle Book.
