"For the seasoned Hardy fan or the new listener, narrator Bill Irwin brings the thrill of being alongside Frank and Joe as the plot thickens. Irwin is breathless, questioning, eager, discouraged, and optimistic, just as the boys are, and he voices supporting roles with a hint of each character. Be ready to jump, as the sound effects are most realistic!" (AudioFile)
I love to be scared, does anyone write anything scary anymore? Maybe I have just become numb.
Another cliff hanger
The sounds from the house
Once again, a great job keeping in the story and not getting lost in characters.
No, I like to make good things last
Another great one brought back to life with audio
Old, unabridged text is great! Sound effects and music were appropriate and added to the story. Narration was good but could have used more inflection.
Not a boring reading but an excellent reading of this Hardy Boys book. With the music and sound effects, the listener is held spellbound as Bill Irwin leads you through this exciting adventure. It is a first-class production.
I loved it and the narrative is done well but not as good as the first 🇺🇸
Another great mystery solved! Full of drama, fight, grit and immense determination at seeking the truth.
"The house on the cliff"
