Listen to the sequel, Gruffalo's Child.

This is a clever story about a clever little mouse that my kids (3 and 5) love. I don't think the 3-yeard old would get it (without having seen the book) if she hadn't seen an animated version prior, but she'd probably still stay tuned the entire time because of the performance. The narrator does different voices for all of the animals- super fun!
I recommend this book.
I'm a mom. I have drama in my life. I don't want books with the F-bomb, nor graphic violence. I read for fun and to bring my family together. I read for reducing stress levels. We have never had a television in our home and our children are now mid twenties to 19. We listen together and look for belly-wrenching laughter. So what is it like to live without a TV? Awesomely educational and inspirational. Each new book is a marvel.
Little mouse can't be eaten for lunch! He must prove to the gruffalo that he is fierce and feared.
Cute reading to pair with the physical book.
I live in CA where the traffic is a nightmare. It could take 90 mins to get to my location when it should have only taken 25 mins. Audible!
I am so glad I purchased this book. the narrator is wonderful. the story comes alive as she reads it. my children were glued to every word. we listened to this story in the car and the kids were so good during the drive as soon as the story ended they were asking for another. I am going to look for more stories by the same narrator.
