"While wisely rated G for Gross ('contains immature material not suitable for adults'), Andy Griffiths' very funny debut will almost certainly blow away (perhaps literally, stinkingly) anyone of any age who's ever suspected that their backside might be up to something." (Amazon.com)

I bought this book to listen to in the car on a long trip with my kids. They were so eager to hear it that we jumped in a week before we left and Oh how glad I am that I didn't have to listen to this book straight through! It stared out hilarious, the butt jokes were perfect for my young boys and the car erupted in giggles over and over. I had high hopes. However, after what seemed like the 40th hour of butt-this, butt-that and gassy landscapes and fart powered locomotion, even my boys were asking "Isn't it over YET?" So, while the narration was fine and the author quite animated and descriptive, he unfortunately proved that you CAN bore a car full of 5-9 year old boys with too many butt jokes! My kids went back to Captain Underpants and left Mr. Griffiths in the car!
I have 11 and 9 year old boys, and we downloaded this for a long holiday car ride. Not a giggle, which was surprising since you can hardly say the word "butt" at our house without it. Not recommended.
