Learn the real reason why clowns are scary, discover the truth about allergy shots, and find out why you should always be nice to your math teacher. Full of thirsty vampires, hungry insects, evil power tools, singing Girl Scouts, and other terrors, these tales go darker, weirder, and stranger than ever before. And at the end of the book, the author reveals the inspiration behind each of the stories.

"[C]ontains very brief stories for which the term 'warped' is an understatement. Lubar clearly knows what sort of icky tale kids find gross and disgusting, yet somehow cool." (School Library Journal)
"Like the other 'Weenies' books, this third collection contains very brief stories for which the term 'warped' is an understatement....This book will talk itself right off the shelves, and reluctant readers will devour it." (School Library Journal)
I bought this book because I love sary campfire tales.. these definitely were not the scary tales I heard as a kid. The stories are meant for a much younger audience (5-8yrs). Good book for a small child, but nothing even kinda scary or even fun really about these stories. These stories reminded me of my seven year old nephew trying to make up a scary storie...
