Fun tales on the road
I bought this collection to jog my memory of the stories and have something fun to listen to on a long car ride. I read it when I was little, so to hear the stories brought back a lot of wonderful memories. The cast is outstanding. Judi Dench, Geoffrey Palmer are as wonderful in this as they are in their series "As Time Goes By". I also loved the voice of Piglet. It just makes me smile remembering the voice. With all that is going on, it was a nice break on a long road. I found that my favorite characters have changed over the years. When I was little it was Pooh and Tiger, it is now Piglet and Eeyore.

Sentimental with Unexpected Wisdom
I think we all remember how delightful Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends are, but many do not remember just how insightful this little bear can be. He may be a bear of very little brain, but he reminds us that we think with our heads and know with our hearts.

Best rendition ever!

A Wonderful Collection of Stories
I, 50 year-old grandma, was taken back to the joys of sitting with my children. I thoroughly enjoyed this audio book. It's 10 books, I believe, and you can stop at book 1, or 2 etc... Great for in the car! This was a good pick.

A timeless story read by an unparalleled cast
Fan or not, this version is sure to delight. We have listened to the entire book at least 5 times with our four year old and couldn't enjoy it more.

The only book I never erase from my phone
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
We know it by heart. We quote it.When we are in between books we always go back to this one. Each narrator is excellent. My favorites and Winnie, Piglet and, best of all, Eeyore. Maybe because there is so much of Eeyore in me.Winnie the Pooh is very well translated into my language, just as funny as the original, but its a different flavor of funny.This one, the original British one, is very different - should I say refined? Its a special kind of humor - British. Subtle. Calm. Sarcastic.I never thought this book to be special, until I heard this. The Disney cartoon is every more unbearable after listening to this.The recommended age range is 5-100.
