Publisher's summary

Each story in this popular and critically acclaimed series has been read by the talented actor, Victor Garber. Now fans who can't get enough of the vampire bunny, Bunnicula, will have something new to add to their collection.

Bunnicula: A Rabbit-Tale of Mystery
Beware the Hare! Is he or isn't he a vampire? Before it's too late, Harold the dog and Chester the cat must find out the truth about the newest pet in the Monroe household, a suspicious looking bunny with unusual habits...and fangs!

Howliday Inn
Harold and Chester could hardly believe it. The Monroe family was going on vacation without them. Bunnicula, the family rabbit, would be boarded with a neighbor. But they, the family's loyal dog and cat, were to be sent away with strangers; to a place called Chateau Bow-Wow. Chateau Bow-Wow, observed Chester, soon after they arrived, could more properly be called Howliday Inn. Though what was howling, neither of them knew. Chester had his suspicions however; only a werewolf could make that chilling sound.

The Celery Stalks at Midnight
Bunnicula is missing! Chester the cat makes a chilling discovery, Bunnicula the vampire bunny has vanished from his cage in the Monroe household. Everyone knows that vampire victims become vampires themselves, and the neighborhood gardens reveal the ultimate horror: bloodless zombie vegetables! Determined to save Bunnicula's victims and the unsuspecting Monroes, Chester leads the valiant friends on a wild bunny chase.

i think it was one of the best books i ever read

What did you love best about The Bunnicula Collection?

With the audio, it's better for me because I have adhd and the audio helps me a lot.

What did you like best about this story?

The best part was when I found out who did it. The whole time I was clueless. Well, no, I had lots of clues but they all pointed to other animals.

Which character – as performed by Victor Garber – was your favorite?

He did a very good job with the voices. My favorite character that Victor Garber did was Lyle.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh a little bit.

a childhood favorite.

this is one of my all-time favorite book series as a kid and it still holds up even as an adult. Sure it's not as sophisticated as you know other books like Tolkien whatnot but it doesn't really matter it's so inventive and so Charming that you just can't help but love Harold Chester and Bunnicula.

Good Kids Story

Fun one for kids definitely. If you remember these, the audiobook might be good for car trips. Or take the time to read them aloud to your kids as they have the entire series available in a box set unless you have your own original copies ready to go!

Wonderfully imaginative and funny...

These stories are. and will forever be, a favorite of my childhood. I read these books around the age of 9 or 10 with my parents. We laughed so hard and the memory of that is the last happy memory I have of that time in my life.

Bunnicula was, in fact, my introduction to audiobooks. I had it on cassette and listened to it every night when I was going to sleep as a teenager. Which, looking back, is a bit telling I think. The point is, associations aside, I enjoyed these books so much that I have continued to read them again and again well into my adulthood.

The humor and the imagination that surround the Monroes and their amazing pets is a great family story. The language lends itself particularly well to being read aloud, especially by an enthusiastic reader. If you want to introduce your child, not only to a fun spoof on the horror genre, but to a barrel of belly laughs... I suggest these books most highly. Let these furry friends and their antics be a happy part of your family memories.

Loved it then...love it more now as an audiobook

Would you consider the audio edition of The Bunnicula Collection to be better than the print version?

Yes. This collection is a completely new experience as an audiobook. The narration was excellent!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Harold is the clear favorite (he is, after all, the voice of the stories). The relaxed, contemplative style in which the narrator presented his voice made the audiobook even better than the original - which is going some - I grew up on these books, and read and re-read them for years!

Have you listened to any of Victor Garber’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No - this was the first.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't cry - it isn't that sort of series, but I laughed many, many times.

Any additional comments?

Loved this collection! I listen to it just like I read the books - over and over again!
