No matter how far Ludlow Fitch flees, insidious tendrils from his past seem just a hair's-breadth from claiming him. Hoping to lose himself in a remote village, the boy begins work transcribing the confessions found only within the pages of The Black Book of Secrets.

"This polished debut from a British writer tantalizingly blends secrets and thick, evocative atmosphere." (Publishers Weekly)
"A smart, peculiarly thrilling book that is sure to appeal to readers ready to sidestep the goodygoody Harry Potters of adventure fiction." (Booklist)
Even though I'm pretty sure this book is suppose to be a kids/older children's book, I loved it. It has a great message and all in all is just cute/ up lifting book all together. Just to give an example of how much I love this book. I've read/listened to it about 13times. Anytime I'm having a bad day this book instantly changes that. I do admit the first time I listened to this I was afraid the narrator wouldn't give this book justice, but I have very pleased with his performance. Anyway sorry for starting to ramble there but honestly this really is a good, and totally worth the credit.
thank you :)
good listening :D
