Smart, mind-opening adventure
Too bad the Christian's try to ban this. They could learn something! This book is a great adventure built on science. It's dark but the message is good. Well read and written. This is an amazing series!

these stories and adventures of lyra and will, Mary and lord azerial and every single person in between. just wonderful story telling! I shed a few tears in this final book. worth the credit! all there books are. would have made for a very cool series of movies if they were finished. that part is a shame.

Good story but distracting elements
I found the concept of the story to be great. the voice actors were great and the story was good. the only trouble o had was the little things that did not mesh with the story. the serious talk and then an elephant with wheels talks weirdly. I feel this story has a bit of a forced childish element to it. overall it is a good book. the ending is a bit long but good none the less
