My mother introduced Patricia Polacco's books to us as kids and I can honestly say that I have never seen my mother cry before this story. This is one of the most inspirational books that I read as a child and I guess I could say reading Polacco's books as well as many others has turned me into the crazy bookworm that I am today. So thank you, Patricia Polacco and thank you Mr. Faulkner for being the inspiration that gave us one of the best children's authors of my generation.
This book really helped my Dyslexic son talk about his feelings and express his needs. Great book
My daughter could relate.
Mr. Falker because he cared about the kids.
I could imagine what was going on.
Both my mother and I enjoyed listening to this book. My little sister was also very interested and the book kept her pretty quiet. Thank you audible books. Reading is hard for me this makes learnig more fun.
