It was supposed to be a vacation - and a chance to get to know one another better. But when a massive storm sets in without warning, four kids are shipwrecked alone on a rocky, jungle island in the middle of the South Pacific. No adults. No instructions. Nobody to rely on but themselves. Can they make it home alive? A week ago, the biggest challenge Vanessa, Buzz, Carter, and Jane had was learning to live as a new, blended family. Now the four siblings must find a way to work together if they're going to make it off the island. But first they've got to learn to survive one another.
This is the first of three exciting adventures from multi-Emmy Award winning host of Survivor, Jeff Probst and New York Times best-selling Chris Tebbetts!

An adequate story.
No. A very choppy narration. This just couldn't be saved....
Don't think so...there is so much out there. This is part one...I will leave it at that.
I couldn't tell them apart.
I love this sort of story. Survival, I had hoped for some hints...kids working together.
adventurous, fun , clean, uplifting
laugh, it had funny parts but was mostly was adventurous
it ended too soon
This book was just getting good when it ended. If there isn't a sequel I will return and change my overall rating to one star.
The narrator was good but there was nothing special about the narration.
This book would never make a good movie because there is no ending. It just stopped. As far as a TV series I might watch it only if I knew it continued beyond the end of the book.
I wish I had never purchased this book without knowing if there would be a sequel. I have never listened to a book that ended like this before and I hope to never do so again,
No one who has to listen to every sentence, regardless of content end a rising phrase. I am not sure how to state this, but list to one minute and you will know what I mean.
phrasing was repetitious and had no relation to the content
I am not opposed to cliffhanger endings in order to get you to the next book, but there needs to be closure in a book before it is a cliffhanger and not just ending a book so you have to buy the next one. Sadly there is no ending in this book. It feels like a money grab to me and I will not purchase books 2 or 3 out of principle.
If all 3 "books" were included so it was a complete story.
Scott Brick...always Scott Brick
The ending of the "book" caused anger because it just stopped.
Plenty of action will keep kids and adults motivated to listen until the very end of this book, although the lack of closure is frustrating. The cliffhanger finish is a clever ploy to buy the next book in this three part series.
Ha ha, it works, I want to know what happens next!
