Sorry about the upside down picture. I can't figure out how to straighten it out.
The couldn't have picked a better person to read this retelling of Return of the Jedi. Excellent!
If you thought the OT atories were missing a bit of the details then you will love this book. It looks into thinks you probably never thought of. Like the how the engineer of the DS2 felt about his monstrous creation. Very well written and executed
my only issue with this one, the author would sometimes choose to talk directly to the listener or write as if he were talking to the characters. He didn't do it often but when he did it was distracting, other than that he did a good job.
Wow! This book was in my opinion a must for a Star Wars fans everywhere, it was like Star Wars taken to the next level (which is not easy to do). I loved the emotion of every character being shown, and explained. It was everything I wanted and more. 5 out of 5. 10 out of 10. 100 out of 100! Best book I've ever seen, would reccomend. Bye for now I have to go re-litsen to it for the 3rd time!
Marc Thompson does an outstanding job of narrating this. My 8-year-old grandson was amazed at the feelings he evoked through powerful storytelling. He says, "it's like he's actually there!" I would listen to other books narrated by Marc.
The book itself is very good and we are now listening to it after the newest Star Wars movie. It's good backfill for my grandson.
If you can't find the time to do it right, how will you find time to do it over
Great story, from a galaxy far, far away . It's like being in the storyline itself
I purchased this with the New Hope retelling. That book was very good and appropriate for a Star Wars audience. This book is probably meant for a 3 year old with ADD. Run reader run...
