Follow the twists and turns of Hetty’s adventures as she begins work. She longs to be reunited with her dear Jem, but also finds a new friend, Bertie the butcher’s boy. Despite her hopes for the future, Hetty’s life seems likely to take a darker path. Can she cope with the trials ahead?

Jacqueline Wilson delivers again, in an imaginative way
I loved not having to learn about a new character again, with just enough recap to remember the last book without it being a rehash
Sapphire/Hetty, she pulls off petulant girl very well!
No, just an enjoyable ride
I am 26 years old and thoroughly enjoyed this book. Me and a friend read and listen to Wilson even now, well into adulthood, such a touching and powerful story, I can't wait to read the next!
"Second book of the Hetty feather"
The book was a great way to top of hetty feather and a tragic story
I loved the book. It was brilliant and read so well. I would recommend this to anyone and especially people who have never read or listened to any Jacqueline Wilson books before like myself.
