Our five year old son really likes this audio book. We use it to send him to bed. the narration is very well done and clear. Darzy's singing is quite funny.
Yes! The story is captivating. The narration is brisk, but valiant in its voices and efforts.
Flourishes with his voice. A quickened understanding of the pace of the story.
A Mongoose finds his Home
Bought it a little too early for my 2 year old, but will definitely listen again and again as he gets older. The story should get richer with each listen.
From Wilm., De. Love reading and audiobooks. Other interests include cooking, attending cultural events, my dogs, birding, music and movies.
Wonderfully narrated by Curtis Sisco and a great childhood classic by Kipling. Entertaining for both young and old. Just an adorable short story that I enjoyed listening to.
Very true to the animated movie, albeit lacking the charms of Orson Welles. Rudyard Kipling does a commendable job adapting this classic children's film to a literary form! This presentation is ideal for those who love India, those who love exterminating snakes, and those who love to be a bit misogynistic toward tailorbirds!! An A+ on all accounts!!!
This review is for the Audio version specifically. Curtis Sisco did an excellent job acting out the story. It is a very engaging short story of the original classic. It is short enough that young listeners will enjoy and be able to complete in one sitting.
