I listen to the audible version of this book together with my 7 year old granddaughter and we both loved it. You couldn’t help getting involved in the mystery of the story line because it was so well presented. My granddaughter became quite excited and couldn’t wait for Rebekah to discover who the mysterious thief was. What a great way to share a children’s story with a young child. My granddaughter couldn’t help talking about how clever and courage’s Rebekah was. I can highly recommend this story.
I loved the portrayal of a strong, young female character. Rebekah had clear goals for her life and was already hard at work reaching them.
Rebekah, was my favorite character for the reason listed above.
Rebekah. Roxana Bell did a good job conveying the strong characteristics of the little girl.
Yes. I played it for my grandsons and they definitely wanted to hear the solution to the mystery.
I have two grandsons who LOVE being read to before going to sleep. Imagine my delight at changing up the bed time story routine by having Rebekah - Girl Detective for them to listen to. The seven year old was a little skeptical when hearing the word "girl" but quickly became engrossed in the mystery. It definitely kept his interest and had him guessing.
The three year old loved hearing about Mouse and the cricket.
I'm looking forward to following up with the other stories in the series. The older grandson has already asked if I will have more of these stories for him when he comes for another visit. I promised him I would.
Thanks for the well-written story.
I'm an avid car listener and love audio books. Was looking for something for my 10 year old niece for a road trip...and picked a winner. We loved it.
We loved Rebekah, and that she didn't ever give up. Wasn't afraid to keep on.
Again, Rebekah. Loved the characterizations. We laughed and rooted for her.
Absolutely. Wanted to find out what happened, and for Rebekah not to give up! She's brave!
Will get more on audio if available for NEXT road trip!
