What the Critics Say

"The longer format lends itself to the complex subject matter, and the cheer and humor with which Jack and Annie face obstacles, along with their thoughtful contemplation of what they have learned, prevent the story from being too scary for its audience. Fans of the series will be delighted." (Booklist)

    "Another hit by MPO"

My 6 year old daughter loves the Magic Tree House stories and this was no exception. I was a bit concerned how she would handle the Nazis / Holocaust but it was skillfully done. I give is a high recommendation.

"7 year old daughter enjoyed this"
Have you listened to any of Mary Pope Osborne’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Found this book to be better than other Magic Tree House books for my 7 year old daughter. She found the story much more interesting and the fact that it was ~3 hours instead of ~1 hour made it a better value in my mind on audible.
